Why not make your weekend plans with a view to restore positive prosperity energy through these tips specifically for your unique Primary Archetype (Money Personality)


What are the local places you have been going to visit for ages? A new cafe, winery, restaurant. Or that band, artist you have been resisting getting tickets for? Then book yourself in for dinner and the show!

The next activity will be to check out what is stashed in your cupboard, those things ‘saved for good’ the outfit, the accessories, the china, the pampering goodies! Get in and enjoy some of those this weekend!


All those ideas constantly streaming into your brain!! Waking up at 4am or not even getting to off to sleep easily

You could enjoy tuning out for awhile, that could be a day spa pamper, a bubble bath and candles to begin the unwinding – put a sign on the bathroom door that checks you out for the next hour from the family!

Plan an explore in nature, get the sand between your toes, smell the fresh scents within the rainforest, take a bush trail, setup a picnic in the yard!


You don’t need any inspiration to be out and about, happening events, meeting old and new friends, the latest venues.

So make a list of more unusual places for you to explore, head a little further out, connect with activities that you find more meaning in. Perhaps there is a social cause you can contribute your social presence with?

Having a deeper sense of fulfilment with your fun will make the experience last longer in your recollections!


Are you planning your weekend for everyone else’s needs to be met? Are you over scheduling your catchups? Is there any ‘free time’

What will you do for your own-self? How will you be rejuvenated? What would be nice for you to experience on your own, just for you? Is this pampering time, a walk, reading a book, taking a new course to upskill, listening to a podcast to up level your self value


You spend most days looking at ways to run the risk, take chances, play the game, hustle and race. It can be thrilling and adrenalin pumping right!

How do you recharge from that expenditure? What permission do you gift yourself to turn away from that for a change.

Some weekends an experience that you have less control in will top you up, or doing some ‘daring’ physical activity!

But also learn about local history, take a visit to pioneering places that were the Mavericks of their time will refresh your view


Oh who’s house are you helping to move this weekend? Who is unwell and you are cooking up meals for? Who’s kids are you having for a sleepover?

You love all of those for sure, and they do fill your cup… BUT this is your go-to norm and the constant giving out leaves you depleted. It can cause you to crash BIG if you dont take a break from it

Re-set time – say NO for one weekend!! Write a list of things you would do if no-one else had booked your time in…. Now treat yourself to time enjoying the list!


Are you off on another buying weekend, shopping for more delicious goodies, planning another getaway with family and friends. Those are all fun and you love love love it.

So the challenge for you is a home-stay and re-connecting with what is already in your space. Clear out some cupboards, find treasure within your existing supplies and restyle a room, your wardrobe.

Take the challenge to spend no money this weekend!!

Often there are physical responses that might see me cry, letting the tears fall, or going to the loo a lot!! I know it’s my way of shedding the story from my cells.

How to Find More Clients

Who wants to find more clients? Seems that many many women who are working out of their spare bedroom, are chasing the quest to have more, and more clients. It’s created an internal pressure that is driving fear into their daily actions and eroding their personal confidences.

Here’s 5 tips on letting go of the anxiety and into new possibilities….

1. Know your numbers

How many clients do you need?  Have you worked out your formula? You are either selling a little price point to a tonne of people or you are selling a higher price to less people. This second version is going to be a fit for service based, creative and those working with the concept of having reorder business from a consumable product range. 

It becomes more profitable to your actual earnings than dragging in a high turnover that is riddled with expenses.

2. Dragnet or Sustainable Fishing

Creating personable dialogue with your customers, on social, email and other communication is going to teach you where they are in life and what their fears and concerns are, to enable you to craft your solutions in meeting their very specific needs.

This strategy doesn’t require you to blast messages across the entire ocean, creating a whole lot of un-necessary noise that’s all about the Sell, Sell, Sell message. Unless you have a vast population commercial product like a soft drink that has millions of consumers on a daily basis, you need to market a clear crisp message that is easy for others to get about how you can help them, and that you can rinse and repeat with ease

3. Mindset 

The old quote ‘If you think you can you can, If you think you can’t then you are right’

Do you believe it is difficult to ‘get clients’, or do you blame the economy of your country, or the political situation of the day, that these are affecting your results?

Do you doubt your capabilities, have you lost your confidence in your skill set? Which often is because the thing you do is so simple and easy for you that you believe that it has little worth in the marketplace. Does your product improve people’s lives? Does it make them feel better? Then someone is looking for that fix right now!   

By being distracted by these thoughts over and over you are getting taken out of the game. If you are feeding off these thoughts then it is going to be felt amongst your marketing, the conversations with your existing clients, your family and network – who wants to hire a wimp? We all want to deal with someone who provides a sense of security that their decision to purchase was a great choice.     

4. Show up

Time to come out of hiding and start engaging with people vs being in a loop of just pushing sales messages out. Find 2-3 Facebook groups and start a positive Q&A to begin meeting people more individually, scroll the posts and offer suggestions, and comment with encouragement to those like minded entrepreneurs. Show people that you See them! 

Head to your local shops, take time to meet your servers, local businesses and get to know their first names and use them. Again its not sales pitch time, it’s chatting for real! Conversations happen when words and energy are exchanged both ways not one person doing all the talking. You can both learn something about each other. Take a handful of business cards and a smile with you ready for introductions.

What was the last in person business networking event that you attended? How many each month do you show up at? Are you a regular attendee that brings a spirit of friendliness and contribution or are you the one in the corner on your phone, or the Taker expecting a sale each event and consider it a failure if that doest occur so you don’t go back.

Who can you get to know, that you can put your radar up to provide an introduction to as a referral? People will buy from those that the Know, Like and Trust – how are you demonstrating that behaviour?

5. Your shop’s closed and you don’t know it

Ahh! This has happened to me hundreds of times – I get excited about a great product or service from a Solopreneur and ready to buy. But they have made it so hard for the client to do so. No links offered, About sections on Facebook pages are incomplete, no email addresses, messengers not setup or working, or they take weeks to reply, broken links on websites, no gallery or shop function, no information on how to purchase. The consumer has to explore ways to give the business money! They have to do all the work. So they give up and go to another provider.

Take the time to complete a birds eye view over your business from the client’s perspective, ask a friend to do the same and see what you learn. Go one step further and conduct a social media audit to see where your gaps are – Use this Social Media Audit Spreadsheet

It is easy to get better! You just need to have some help from the outside to see what you can’t (it happens to all of us!) Get a map prepared and you will be ready to clean it up and raise up your earnings!

How do you move through disappointment?

How do you move through disappointment?

Hey, everyone. Great to have you here for our next These Five Things Show. This is where we talk about a particular topic in a little micro-slice and five little thoughts, tips, around how to work with this, how to get through, how to elevate through it. So today I felt really prompted to talk about disappointment. To talk about the hurt of disappointment.

There’s a few people who are going through some really interesting moments right now, and these will happen constantly, so I want to talk about the reality. First of all, let’s set up the stage. We all have disappointments. We all have that hurt, we all have that pain. The pain that actually is associated to the disappointment, is associated to a number of different things. You know, disappointments show up in love, disappointments show up actually in a win. So it’s not that some emotions are, oh that’s ugly, or that’s sad. They are all necessary of what we have to go through.

So let’s talk a bit about these five things. So the first one I want to talk about is grief.

1. Grief

Oh, the grief that you feel when something didn’t go the way that you had planned, the fact that, I really saw that happening in a different format, a different realization, a different outcome. There is grief around the fact that, that is no longer. That is not going to be. That is not what you had on your vision board for the moment. At the same time, we only see that the options are that was the sequence of how it was going to come to pass. We cannot possibly see all the other options, and who can help in those options.

I had a situation last week where I was really disappointed. I was heartbroken that a particular thing just wasn’t looking the right way. It just took me out of my game. It really even wrote off the whole day. And then something happened and I noticed that I wasn’t allowing the contribution of other people who could make something right in this situation. I was looking at it that I needed to have all of those answers, I needed to deliver all of those answers, and I was probably disappointed a little bit about myself being in that position. So, there is grief around what you thought was going to be and that you think it’s only going to be in that sad state, related to that situation.

2. Doubt

The next one is doubt. The doubt when you have a disappointment, you doubt in the opportunity, you doubt in the offering, you doubt in the possibility, and you doubt yourself. You go wow, if I can’t deliver on that if I can’t reach that, or if I can’t accomplish that, make that deadline, have that situation show up then we associate that disappointment and it really impacts on our self worth.

3. Shame

So then the third one becomes shame. And there’s been certainly a lot of wonderful conversation around shame and vulnerability from our beautiful Brené Brown, and if you haven’t yet read some of her works or seen her famous two TED Talks, then please, enjoy having a walk through that because they are fascinating. When you think about shame and you think about disappointment, the fact that other people you may have shared your goal, and it didn’t happen, and there is this shame to say well what will other people think of me?

There’s a shame to say, my family didn’t see me have that come through, I made promises. There’s a shame about disappointment of, well what was my contribution in that. Am I worthy enough? Am I good enough? That person said no to me, or that situation didn’t show up. Or the shame of not being, uh this is a really interesting tribal one I’m feeling too that if you’re in a team, a group, a business, and other people had not experienced the same disappointment at the same time, and you were feeling like you were being the single one outside of that group. So there’s a, oh, will I still be accepted in that group when they’ve had that go okay and I’ve not? So, is there some ostracizing happening as a result of that, so therefore, there’s shame built into those things. And, then, when we go into shame we go into hiding and go on our count possibly, be in the space again.

And I wanted to, this is all such beautiful timing of this discussion right now, and I saw this morning, Instagram, beautiful post from Brené that actually she shared from Viola Davis who’s an amazing actress. And I just wanna, I took a little snapshot of it and I just want to read it to you, but you can go back to Brené’s Instagram. And this is what it said is, “They talk. They tell you to develop a thick skin. So things don’t get to you. What they don’t tell you is that you’re thick skin will keep everything from getting out. Love. Intimacy. Vulnerability. I don’t want that. Thick skin doesn’t work anymore. I want to be transparent. I want to be translucent. And for that to work, I won’t own other people’s shortcomings and criticism. I won’t put what you say about me on my load.”

Wow. Isn’t that awesome? What will it take for us all to own that statement? And it’s also connected to those well what shame have I got to release? Because shame comes in as well what are other people going to think of me? I don’t want to do this because, and it holds us back from actually digging in and deciding what it is that fulfills us. What it is that our goals are, and having a go at them, because of this what other people will think.

And, we could talk about shame across a whole lot of different personalities, people and situations. You know that you’ve probably got some stuff within your own immediate four walls that you go, wow, if people knew that I would be disappointed. I would feel ashamed. They would be disappointed in me. And it’s, everyone’s got that inner four walls stuff. Sadly, you’re not unique. The situation you have might be unique, but, the ultimate of the ownership of that disappointment, that hurt, that shame it’s actually common ground. It’s what we share about us being human, we’re having a human being experience while we’re here. And it’s okay. The disappointment is as equal to the joys of love.

4. Release & Redefine

Next step which is the release and redefine, and so this releasing message that Viola shared is that, you know, saying I want to be that transparent and translucent in order for me to sort of say okay great, I felt that disappointment, I’ve shed my tears, I’ve had my pain, I’ve had my moment of grief and Joel Osteen who’s an amazing pastor who talks about it says to walk through the valley of the shadow of death in Psalms 23, but it doesn’t say build a two story house and set up your life in the valley.  You walk through it. And know that, okay, well what I have I got to release? Who have I got to redefine? What isn’t a fit for me anymore? What’s my truth? And you’ve got to do some internal work to actually connect with with what is this situation trying to tell me. What do I need to learn from this situation? What do I need to know from this situation?

There was a situation, not necessarily for me, but it was actually in order for someone else to identify, look internally through what’s happening for them and then in order for them to have that experience, I needed to play my part. Sometimes, when you’re feeling that disappointment it is a fact that you may have needed to play the road block, you may have needed to play that mirror role. So redefining, okay great from that, I actually didn’t want what I thought was that, I actually want now this, but until you get up real close and in front of it you can’t actually have that experience. So, what does it allow you to redefine going forward.

5. Courage

And our final tip is courage. And, again, with Brené she talks beautifully about courage derived in its needing talks for the heart. Its not taking away from it, it’s just saying, what of the heart? We’re not talking about courage, it’s around being brave enough around your heart to say, okay well I’ve exposed myself in that rawness to step in and have another go. Have I got the courage to retry, to redo, to redesign what that can look like. And it is falling up and getting back up again and sometimes you want to stay down and sometimes you want to get back up and life, we have to keep getting back up. It’s a matter of the times between the fall and the getting back up. You determine that. But, it’s not a disappointing time, its just a place where you can sorta say, okay what is that, what does it feel like, it feels ugly, it feels rotten.

Here’s what I really do want to embrace, and that’s that allowing it to come in and go out and I think this beautiful flow that we are embracing right now to talk about these feelings and to talk about uniquely are you that uniquely having these experiences that there’s more common ground and that you’re okay. We’re okay. We’re all okay because we know that we’re all in this together and I have hope and I have faith and I have always an expectation in something great but it does not mean I’m without my heartaches and my disappointments and my pain and my doubts. Absolutely. You know, I love working with those women and I can see where they’ve been and I can see that they’ve are stepping in to trust someone and say I’m here in your corner, and let’s get through this. Find a great person who can step with you.

And trust is another thing you’ve got to have the courage to do, especially if you’ve had a heartbreak or a betrayal; friendships, business partners, you know it’s like, oh wow do I have that courage to reconnect and retry and re-trust. It’s amazing isn’t it.

So there we are for this time. I hope that you have got something that just triggered within you and helped you wherever you are today just to go uh-huh I’m going to work with it, so it’s either today, it’s shedding a tear and rising again. So, you’re day could be one of those things here either in shedding the tear mode or you’re in the rising again mode. Wherever you are, it’s right. Wherever you are, I’m with you and supporting you and giving you encouragement today.

I’ve got five key things I want to share with you, so let’s go through those now.

1. What you dont want

The first one is, what you don’t want, what you will no longer tolerate or accept. Now this is a real interesting place to start. You’re thinking, “Sharyn, it’s about what I do want.” Correct! But I want you to grab a notebook and work through this exercise first. It’s a temporary situation, but working with a lot of women over the years, often their imagination’s a little stalled in thinking about what they do want, what they believe they can have or deserve they can have, what they can really feel that maybe, “Oh, yes. With a little stretch I could do it.” Some of those things that they really, really, really would love sit so far away from where they believe they are. They’re caught up behind all the rubbish that’s in their view for now. So we’re really gonna do a bit of a declutter, and we’re going to work on what we don’t want, what we no longer tolerate or accept. Let’s get that started.

Okay, from that, we’ll start to then get a little clearer on what you do want. So that’s number one.

2. Secret Wish

Number two is going to be to discover what your secret wish is. This is my most favourite part of the journey when I’m mentoring women is that my role is to support them to accomplish their secret wish. And money is money and other things become insignificant.If I was to tell you, “Oh, yes. I’m gonna double your profits.” That’s not important to everyone. That’s a byproduct of achieving their secret wish, and running a business no doubt there is a secret wish that hides in there. You may not even know what it truly is. So I’d love to see what we can dig out.

So if you want to think that no one’s gonna see it or maybe you needed to be more truthful to yourself and to other people, then what is that one thing that this year that you achieved, saw happen, realized, enjoyed? What is that real depth of that story? What is the truth about that? That’s your secret wish. And for one of my clients, it’s having an exhibition this year. For another one, it’s actually to be on stage in a senior position that she’s realized in front of her company, and showing them that it’s still possible.

3. Bliss List

The third one is your bliss list. So years ago, I was talking to some people about the bucket list and it’s not a phrase that I find appealing. I feel that we want to live a daily life in bliss and you work towards that every moment we can. And so what can be on a bliss list? Well, again, back in this workshop, the stories that were coming out were that people were feeling that their bucket list wasn’t as juicy or as interesting as some other people. They weren’t heading off on some extraordinary ultra-marathon trail. They weren’t competing and taking over things. And wow, what a spot to realize that, does it have to be that? It can do, but it doesn’t all have to look … So these people were holding off, really getting excited and amongst their own spirit because they didn’t feel it was grand enough.

So what we started to do was write a list of places locally, within five minutes, that they could actually go and enjoy that they hadn’t connected with for a while. Maybe memories from their childhood. Places that they said, “Oh, we’re going get around to go and eat a meal there, have a coffee there, have a cocktail there. Go and do in our own home town.” So we started a book, and on each page was a different heading. One was, “Local to get out and see and do.” Other things were to go and have eateries and explore. And then we made it, “Okay, what’s a few hours from home? What’s in the same state?” And then nationally, and then internationally. And so it’s just like starting, again, within those little goals and building on them.

And the more that you can say, “Great, we’ve got an opportunity to go out to dinner tonight. I’m going go to my bliss list and see what’s on my list.” Or, “I’ve got a free Saturday. What am I gonna do today? Hang on, I’m going go to my bliss list and consult that.” And so you start building on that success and that repetition, and all of a sudden you realize that the things you actually are filling into your timezones and into your cracks of time even, are more highly rated on the things that you want to enjoy. And so with that your vibration goes higher and higher and higher, and as you elevate your vibration to getting into … Instead of out of all those deep, dark places of shame and disappointment and fear. They start going up and up and into the spaces that really can flow more opportunity and more joy and more love and more opportunities. And running a business, you want to be elevated into that space so that you’re seeing those opportunities, the clients are magnetized towards you.

So definitely want to encourage you to start your bliss list. Share with us what is being added on to your bliss list no matter where you’re actually enjoying living in this world.

4. I AM Statement

And then, number four is your I Am statement. So you’ll see on our little chart here I have put some I Am statements. Let me just get a little bit closer. Okay? And I am responsible for the energy I bring to every space. I am powered by love, belief, and faith. I am releasing my self-imposed limitations. How cool are they? Now I Am statements, you’ve probably been working with those. I’ve been working with these for over 10 years and I will say that when I’m talking to some clients I can see the resistance that happens about owning that statement. What they do is they go into a place that says, “Yeah, but not yet. I’m not quite.” And they start doing that early resistance.

So if you’re having a little resistance with one of those statements, you might want to use an additional word called, “Willing.” And it acts as a bridge into the statement. So I am willing to release a self-imposed limitation. Okay? And so it starts, “Oh, yeah. I can do that.” If I wrote down there for you, “I’m a millionaire,” you would just go, “Oh, yeah, righto.” And you would shut it down. Whereas if I wrote on there, “I am willing to be a millionaire,” your acceptance is much stronger towards it, and that’s where we want to go. We always want to play from our strengths, right? So have a look at those I Am statements. You could have a thousand of them but these are the ones that are just going to really bring together a whole lot of different parts of your life and bring them in. With all those key parts you can achieve anything you wish to.

5. Place it

And finally is place it and update it. So once you’ve added in your photos of your items that are going to go in here. Photocopy it. Take a photo. Whatever you would like to do and place it in key parts where you are most visible during your day. So it might be you laminate it and put it from where you can view it in the shower. So mines actually opposite the wall there. So as you’re just having a couple of moments in the shower you can just look at that, connect for your day. I’ve also got one that’s on my board toward that I face from my bedroom. Some people have cut sections out and put them under the sun visor in their car, in the pantry, on the fridge. Wherever you would like to. But you need to want to connect with these multiple times a day. Pop it onto your phone. There’s so many cool things. Pop it as a screensaver. 

And what you’re doing is you’ve actually just dropped in an image of something that represents that statement. So for example, one of the things might be, “I’m achieving this. Creating this opportunity.” Have you ever wanted to talk in front of a particular audience? Say from the TED stage? Or you’ve wanted to be recognized for your expertise. Pop that down. Let’s get really excited about what can be on here. Where are you going to holiday? What are you enjoying? Maybe it’s a big cash return. Maybe your turnover your business. Maybe your profit in your business. You can put a whole lot of money in there if you want to.

And I love my business because. And this is a really cool way of actually getting one image that says, “This is why I started my business. This is who I started my business for.” Because most of the clients that I work with love delivering on their creative space, the product that they work with. They love helping customers get a solution. They love being at the customer and delivering that. They didn’t necessarily want to start a business, and so the business, the marketing, the development, everything. It just becomes, “How can I do that the simplest way possible?” So lets just remind you of why you are doing what you’re doing. You’ve got a fabulous superpower that probably someone else does not have, and so you’ve got a calling and people are needing what you’ve got to offer. So just confirm that to yourself by one beautiful image that inspires you on a Monday morning to keep on going after the week ahead and with a smile and grace, and know that you’ve got this.
